Some good advice would be to start searching for forums you can add a signature in, then add your referral link. Also go look through some of the very first post ever made in the referral sections and see whats working for other members of this site.

To Squirlyman nope, but you can tell them to have a look a your website in your profile or make videos of your own, then you can add your website in your video. You can check out "Camtasia studio" or "Animoto", Animoto only lets you make 30 second free videos its still good though, Google it. You can get a free 1 month trial from camtasia, but after that you would have to pay.

To Brianquast, do you have a website? If so you cant just make a website/video/blog and add some words and expect it to get ranked in Google, thats not how it works, it might get ranked in Google/yahoo/bing, but not for the keyword your trying to get it ranked for.

It takes time for things like this to work, you cant just make a website and expect for you to make millions without doing nothing, it simply will not happen. SEO and good unique content Is very important for any website/video/blog and so is anchor text, I recommend you Google some basic SEO Guides, look for ones that makes sense to you.

To anyone even thinking about making a website do your keyword research before you even start, look for the low competition keywords that you can use for your website, It will be easier for you to rank for those. Dont even think about trying to use "make money online", "make money online for free" or anything related to that for that matter for your keyword, it will be impossible to rank for those unless you are a expert at SEO.

"Adwords keyword tool" will help you see how much traffic a keyword is getting each month and how low the competition, Google it!
