I love the limit (lol). 35 lottery tickets is a large amount of tickets to have at once. Having the limit is needed, so members don't go spamming that section just for tickets. It also allows other members to post any freebies they find, instead of a member posting the majority. Not only this, but lottery tickets given out cost the site so not having a limit could be costly for the site supplying all those tickets.

I found even with the limit, the Freebie section was becoming a bit messy, and spending time searching for good free items to post became a bit pointless - if others could just spam things like "15% off Lawnmowers", or "20% off all garden rakes" discounts as if they were an offer a person would be interested in, and still get a ticket, I thought it best not to bother.

Why waste time putting in effort, checking for duplicates, or typing a write-up about expiration dates or rules if nobody else cared?

Discounts aren't even allowed in that forum, so no one would get to keep that ticket if they posted something like that.

Well, this was over, say, 9 months ago, and I haven't been back to that section of the forum, so maybe it's been cleaned up since.

The limit is good the way it is.. if they removed it people would just spam, and there would be a lot of freebies reposted by different members.
