When your Internet provider offers you a 1Mb connection speed, its mega BITS not mega BYTES . So divide the number of megabits by eight to work out how many megabytes/kilobytes you can download per second e.g. 1Mbps = 128KB mega BYTES per second. So now I'm thinking, 2mbps, doesn't sound very fast :(
