Very 1st Squidoo lens!

Here is my very first Ref site,so I'm still trying to figure out what I need to include.Just so you know,the first YT vid is My P2S Ref video,the second one I just found & put on my site.Also,the extra banners that you see are Squidoo's,not mine,so I don't have any control over them.Any advice from people who have a large amount of Refs is very welcome. Looks fine to me, although you might want to break the large paragraph of txt into 2 smaller pieces and move one of them further down the page. Lolol, as if i know what im talking about... |

It needs a lot of work. First of all, you're basically saying, "Hey, go sign up for this site if you want free makeup." You can't just say that. You need some sort of writing technique that will make your readers actually want to visit the site. Secondly, your spelling and comma usage are atrocious. Please, please, please paste it into a text editor and spellcheck it. Bad spelling and grammar are one of the biggest turn-offs of any website, they make the writer look unprofessional and uneducated. Another thing I noticed...you say "Click the referral link above," yet I found the link below it. More actually, I found a string of text which I believe is your referral link. At MINIMUM, you need to make it a hyperlink so they can directly click on it; copying and pasting, though easy, is both annoying for Mac users as well as amateur. A better strategy would just be to use one of the Points2Shop banners to promote the site. Lastly, the videos you post are somewhat unrelated to the article you wrote. Making a video yourself is a pain, but it just may be worth it if you're serious about this site. Thanks, Nightshade |

Maybe add some pictures to break up the text a little, i agree take away some of the caps i got most of my refs from my squidoo page. Wish i had more lol. |
